Living Small, Living Well

Lately, I've been thinking about living small, efficient and practical. In fact, I don't know why I said "thinking about living small" like its a new concept, when I do live small already! What I really should say, is living in a small home that also qualifies as dream living. Like perhaps on a beautiful Hawaiian beach, maybe?

Surrounded by so much natural beauty, why would anyone need an enormous house. I would rather feel like I live outside...with air conditioning of course!
(I found this house on an amazing site my sister introduced me to called Trendir. Check it out for some more amazing modern homes. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time there)

Spectrum Art Show in Sugarland

This is a little last minute, but I wanted to let you know about a great art show in Sugarland. 25 local artists will be showing their work, which ranges from sculpture to photography. I actually saw a sneak peek yesterday and found some pretty cool stuff. The event will be sponsored by a group called Amplify|Sugarland. Their goal is to "Strengthen a local culture of inspiration", by providing more opportunities for artists to show their work. So I hope many of you will support them:) The show will be tomorrow evening (Oct. 15) from 6-10pm.

Miracles Do Still Happen!

What an amazing couple of days! On our t.v. screens we watched 33 men, essentially brought back to life. I imagine that is how these men's families felt. At the same time we witnessed an event no human has seen before. Incredible!
I feel so proud of Chile, even though I'm not from there.
